I was browsing a friend's photos from the annual Yr12 trip to Balmoral, and I suddenly had to ask myself-

Why are we so fascinated with creating sandcastles?

Is there some kind of hidden symbolic relationship between the sandcastle and our life aspirations?

Hmmm..

I shall ponder this briefly as I fall asleep. Time for bed..
